Der Grieche Im Langenweg in Lindau

What can you say a traditional house where you feel a bit like in Greece. It is a home-style restaurant where you feel like walking in Greece. The landlord brings in his friendly Greek nature and the German wife complements it with her sympathetic appearance. The dishes are consistently good, bourgeois, varied and a bit international.

It was so delicious that we were there 2 times in a row on vacation :)

What you would expect from a Greek restaurant. Nice service. Food was good. The veggie lasagne with canned vegetables was a shame. The meat dishes were nicely presented too. The Greek yogurt was delicious.

Great food and nice staff. An ouzo to welcome you, plenty of free baguette with tzaziki as a starter and great tasting dishes at good prices. In my opinion the best restaurant in the region. Perfect for a final evening of a vacation

We had a gyro plate and fillet skewer with vegetables. Not bad in taste, but all the frozen vegetables were a shame. Quality mediocre but it tasted good. Service was quick and nice

On September 25, 2020, we celebrated the completion of a successful German course (Kolping, B2) at this Greek restaurant in Lindau. My relatives and I were there for the first time, but we had already heard about this restaurant, and good ones, so I was glad our teacher reserved a table for our group. I have to say that the exterior of the restaurant doesn’t show how nice and cozy the inside is! I imagine a restaurant just like the way the interior of Der Grieche is designed: there are tables for more and more companies and families, with pop-ups in several places, in wall recesses, with exciting architectural solutions! The decoration is, of course, Greek style. The staff is very nice, not intrusive, but they will be there right away if they see that we can order something else. Thank you for your kind service! The menu is also demanding and tidy, there is plenty to choose from. I also really liked it! What we ordered was quickly brought out, even though they were sitting at quite a few tables besides us. Regular servings were served. I - as shown in the uploaded picture - ordered fish and in addition to being fiber-free, it was very, very delicious !!! So thank you to the chefs too! My husband is also hospitable, he said they work at a reasonable price. (if I go to a restaurant, the condition of the restrooms is also important to me, so I can describe with a calm heart that there was order and cleanliness in the toilets as well). Overall, I can say that we will definitely go back to this restaurant because we were very happy with everything! Everyone liked everything, of course we also ordered desserts. We had a pleasant conversation next to the mood light and mood candles. It was a very successful evening. We're still coming in here! The price-performance ratio is okay. The food I ordered was delicious. But it was more like a canteen meal when served ... The eye eats with .... The staff was super nice ..

.... yes it was delicious. We missed the salad beforehand or with it and the old "inn" didn't want to switch from the canteen atmosphere to "Greek". But the staff: just great, thank you

Great Greek in Lindau, with plenty of parking space right in front of the restaurant. It is advisable to reserve in advance, as there are of course a lot of tourists depending on the location. The menu offers a very good selection of Greek dishes as well as some alternatives for other dishes. (from sausage salad to spaghetti Bolognese) I give a star deduction because the ambience is more of a mixture of an old German inn (in the building there was probably a German inn in the past) and a few Greek pictures on the wall. Eventually it could be modernized at some point. We would love to come back.

Wonderful evening with the Greek. Very tasty dishes at very fair prices. The staff are all very friendly and take care of them immediately. I can only recommend it :)

Solid Greek in Lindau. Very friendly and attentive staff, fair prices and good portions. The fish in particular was delicious. Guest room is divided into children and childless. Very pleasant. Ambience "traditional" and cultivated.

The only thing that I liked in Lindau, nice people good food and reasonable price

An institution in Lindau! The restaurant has been around for 30+ years and the quality of food never went down. I've eaten better Greek food, but not anywhere close to Lindau. The beer garden in summer is obviously more enjoyable than the relatively somber interior of the inside. At any event, absolutely recommended and be sure to get a reservation, even during the week.

My go-to place for Greek food in greater Lindau. Being Greek myself, I can tell the good Greek food. Also, very nice to sit outside during summer. Very nice personnel and management.

We went there on Sunday evening. Found place was full already. Menu was German and ordered from Google photos. But then found there was menu available, so you will need to ask. I have ordered grilled lamb and beef. Food was great and nice service.

It is a pleasant restaurant to have your dinner, my experience was not so good, as I came to try one of their best items at Saturday, but it wasn't there!!! How come they cannot offer their best dish during the weekend?? Maybe I will give it a second shot

Super delicious Greek! Great food selection, it is also nice that you can choose between two portion sizes. At the beginning there was a schnapps on the house. Both the filled vineyard leaves and the filled calamari are highly recommended.
